Michelle Mouton and co-driver Fabrizia Pons at the 1984 RAC Rally.
I love this day. I’ve had a single mother since I was 9, and I have witnessed so much courage and strength that I can never hope to match. It takes
balls
to be a woman today, more than ever before.
And guys, remember to do your best to help out, respect, support and challenge women in your life every single day, not just bring them flowers on the 8th of March.
Cheers.

If talking about women’s day, why say it takes BALLS to be a woman

It takes ovaries.

cause it’s a common expression and I like the irony, I though it could be a good play on words. I assume that everyone reading this already understands equality and is a feminist, so that way a joke like this shouldn’t cause offense. Do you think it sucks or is offensive? I can edit the thing and use something else, it could be just my bad English...

I like to gender correct “balls” to:
Male: “testicular fortitude”
Female: “ovarian fortitude”
Yeah, I’m apparently on the spectrum.
